Susanna Kaleck Obituary, Death – Susanna Whitney Griswald Kaleck On January 23, 2023, Susanna Whitney (Griswald) Kaleck, who lived in North Haven and was 83 years old at the time of her demise, departed this life.

She had been a part of this world for 83 years. Before she was born on October 27, 1939, in New Haven, both of her parents had already passed away. Her birthday is commemorated as the day she was born. Her mother, Mary Brooks Griswald, was an educator, and her father, A.

Whitney Griswald, Sr., had served as the 16th President of Yale University. She was named after her father. She was the child that they had. Those who are able to carry on Susanna’s legacy include her husband Edward G. Kaleck, her brother A. Whitney Griswald, Jr. of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, and a number of her nieces and nephews.

Susanna’s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her. Her two sisters, Sarah Leahy and Mary Flender, both preceded her in death before she died. Both of her sisters went away before she did. Susanna spent the majority of her life in New Haven, but ever since she moved there five years ago, she has regarded North Haven to be her permanent home.

Although Susanna spent the majority of her time in New Haven, she now considers North Haven to be her permanent domicile. She studied and finished her studies at Albertus Magnus College, where she also obtained her degree in recognition of her accomplishments. She had a zest for life, a love of travel, a talent for music (she played the flute), a passion for art (she was an exceptional painter), and she enjoyed being adventurous. Her paintings were remarkable, and she was also known for her poetry, which was published. Susanna has a soft spot for every kind of animal.
