Jesse Bloom Obituary, Death – Jesse Bloom, 41, of San Diego, died tragically on Monday, January 2, 2023, as a result of a horrific disaster that occurred far too soon. Sandy (Wackerman) Bland and Jerry Bloom welcomed their son Jesse into the world on August 18, 1981, in Mariposa. Jesse graduated from Mariposa County High School in 1999 and briefly attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before concluding that the life he had set out for himself in San Diego was where he felt most at home.
Jesse surrounded himself with the greatest individuals he could find, resulting in a strong support system for himself. He also lived his life to the fullest by making every day as memorable as possible. His Halloween costumes were always the most extravagant, and he enjoyed simple pleasures like a glass of wine and a Camel cigarette. He traveled frequently. People were drawn to him because of his captivating demeanor and ability to conjure up a story on the spur of the moment. He could also carry on a discussion with anyone. He was well-known for his quick wit, recognizable smile, and generous and caring nature.
The Bloom family would want to convey their heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional close-knit group of friends in the San Diego area that came together to form a family apart from his own. Jesse lived in a love bubble, and he treasured each and every one of you. It gave him tremendous pleasure to see you find love, create families, and bestow the title “Uncle Jesse” on your children, whom he adored.
Jerry (his father) and Kathy Bloom; Jerry (his brother), Diana, Nathaniel, Donevan, and Jerilynn Bloom; Jason (brother) and Ashley Bloom; Elwood and Rebecca (his sister) Mello; grandma Johnnie Wackerman; and a vast number of aunts, uncles, and cousins can carry on Jesse’s heritage.
