Paul Bemis Obituary, Death – Paul Bemis, who had recently retired from his post as Assistant Chief/Fire Marshal with the Anchorage Fire Department, passed suddenly yesterday around 15:00 due to problems emerging from the cancer therapy he was undergoing.

Bemis had been receiving treatment for the disease for some time. As we deliver this disheartening information to you, the weight of the world is on our shoulders. Please pray for Marci and her family as they go through this difficult time.
