Eugene Lyons Obituary, Eugene Lyons Has Passed Away

Eugene Lyons Obituary, Death – On the 23rd of January, 2023, Eugene Lyons, who resided at 19 St. Oliver’s Villas, Tullow, County Carlow, and was formerly of Staunton Avenue, Graiguecullen, Carlow, unexpectedly passed away at his house. He had previously called Staunton Avenue, Graiguecullen, Carlow, home. He had spent the better part of his life in the city of Carlow as a resident there. Previously, he had made the town of Carlow in Ireland his permanent residence. He was the esteemed father of Paul, who has since passed away, as well as the esteemed brother of Michael, John, Ellen, Alan, Jim, Catherine, Angela, Pat, and Thomas, all of whom have now died away. Ellen, his sister, was also able to avoid being killed by him.

It will be very challenging for his son, his brothers, his sisters, his brothers-in-law, his sisters-in-law, his aunts, his nephews, and his nieces, along with all of his other members of the family and friends he leaves behind, to go on living without him. We pray that Eugene will find the rest and tranquility he so desperately sought in heaven. Prayers will be offered at the Carpenter’s Funeral Home in Graiguecullen on the evening of Friday, January 27, at 6:30 p.m. At the funeral home on that same day, the viewing will get underway at 2:00 p.m. local time. The funeral procession will begin at St. Clare’s Church in Graiguecullen at 1.45 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, and will arrive for the funeral liturgy at 2 p.m. on that same day.

After the service, the funeral and subsequent burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carlow soon after the conclusion of the service.
