Robert Whelan Obituary, Death – Recent news articles indicate that Robert (Robbie) Whelan, who resided in Glenaleamy, Powerstown, Clonmel, and other locations in Tipperary County, Ireland, has passed away. Robert (Robbie) Whelan was born in Ireland. On Monday evening, Robbie unexpectedly lost his battle with cancer at home, where he was surrounded by his devoted family. A life that had been lived to the fullest was cut short in a tragic way.
Beloved husband and father, he will be sorely missed by his devoted wife Joanne, his cherished children Killian and Sarah, his parents Mick and Nellie, his brothers Richie and Paul, his parents-in-law Timmy and Bridie (Ryan), aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and his extensive network of friends. He will also be remembered with great affection by his extended family and friends.
His passing came as a shock and was completely unexpected on February 4, 2019. I ask God to give him the peace that passes all understanding.
