Robert Simpson Obituary, Founder of Westhill Service Station Has Died

Robert Simpson Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we must inform you that our company’s founder, Robert Fraser Simpson, has passed away. We regret to inform you that he has passed away. Bob died on February 20, 2023, in a calm and peaceful manner. His death occurred on a Friday this week.

Bob purchased the company in 1968 and put in countless hours of labor over the next fifty years to build it into what it is today, including the expansion of the workshop and forecourt. Bob’s Garage is the current name of the company. In 2018, Bob finally took his long-awaited retirement.

Bob’s devoted wife Jean, son Robert, daughter-in-law Margaret, and grandchildren Andrew and Neil are the only members of his family to survive his death. Along with Bob, his son Robert is among those who survived the ordeal.

He was one in a million, and despite his hectic schedule, he was always up for a chat and some light banter. Our hearts go out to Jean and the rest of the family, as well as everyone who works at the garage; our thoughts and sympathies are with you all. Everyone will miss him terribly.

He’ll be fine. Skene Parish Church will host the funeral services, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1. Flowers should only be sent by immediate family members at this time. Following the conclusion of the services, a reception will be held at the Holiday Inn Westhill.
