Mark Ridgeway Obituary, Death – Classes for today have been called off at Mortimer Jordan High School as a result of the bad weather. An inquiry into a fatality that took place at the school shortly before 7:30 this morning was opened, as indicated by the information that was provided by the coroner’s office.
Soon, several of the school’s administrators will be joining us for a conversation that will take place right after this one. This is the announcement that was made in a formal capacity by the Institution, and it is as follows:
Unfortunately, this morning there was a horrific accident that resulted in the loss of one of our employees, and we are still trying to come to terms with what has transpired and what it means for us. When we are in a position to divulge additional information to the broader public, it will be made available to the public as soon as possible.
At Mortimer Jordan High School, the administration has decided to call off all of today’s extracurricular activities, including those that are scheduled to take place after school. This encompasses any and all activities that take place outside of the regular school day. On Thursday, January 26, we will go back to the school activities that are normally scheduled according to our schedule.
