Jackson Rohm Obituary, Death – The death of Jean Jackson (Marshall) Rohm, who resided in Hopewell Twp. and was 102 years old at the time of her passing on January 9, 2018, took place in her home. She was born on February 25, 1915 in Motherwell, Scotland, making her parents James Marshall, who had passed away, and Margaret Marshall, who had also passed away, her parents.
Both of her parents had passed away. Her interests included working in her garden and sewing, in addition to spending time with her family. She was successful in all she attempted and left a favorable impression on everyone she met. She was a force for good in the world. She was a devoted member of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and never missed a Sunday service there.
Her husband, Lester Rohm, and five of her siblings—James, Andrew, and William Marshall, Agnes Wilson, and Catherine Eichorn—preceded her in death. She herself passed away after her husband and siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse at the time of their marriage.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Linda Wilson, who currently resides in Hopewell; a brother, Robert Marshall; two sisters, Margaret Leipley and Helen Dilling; and a dear friend, Tracy King. She also leaves behind a friend who was very important to her, Tracy King. In addition, she is leaving behind someone who held a very special place in her heart, Tracy King.
