Gary Boyd Obituary, Sturgis, MI Resident Has Died

Gary Boyd Obituary, Death – Sturgis, Michigan – After a valiant fight against cancer, Gary Boyd departed this world on Sunday to be with his Lord and Savior. He passed away. His birth took place on March 11th, and his parents, Luxter Dean Boyd and Elizabeth Ann (Smallwood) Boyd Thompson, were responsible for bringing him into this world. He was the offspring of Luxter Dean Boyd and Elizabeth Ann (Smallwood) Boyd Thompson. His full name was Luxter Dean Boyd Thompson. Halliburton Services was Gary’s employer for the better part of three decades, during which time he worked as a machinist there. After that, he eventually left his position at Murf’s Guns after having spent a cumulative total of three years working there.

Gary enjoyed the great outdoors immensely and counted target shooting, hunting, and fishing among his top three activities there. Gary was a huge nature lover and spent a lot of time outside. When he was younger, he used to spend a lot of time riding dirt motorcycles, but these days, he spends almost all of his time riding his Harley. He used to ride a lot of dirt motorcycles when he was younger. In the past, he has logged miles on a number of different motorcycles. Gary placed the most value on the time that he was able to spend with his family and was willing to give up anything in order to be with them.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Boyd, who takes care of the home; his daughter, Amber Reed and husband Chase; his son, Austen Dean Boyd and wife Jordan; three wonderful grandchildren: Ayden Dean Reed, Logan James Reed, and Axel Dean Boyd; his mother, Elizabeth Thompson and husband Jerry Thompson; his sister, Terri Caldwell; his aunt, Verna Pettigrew and husband Bill; and a large number of other family members and friends. He was a loving husband and father He was devoted to his family as both a spouse and a parent.
