On July 2, 1961, she tied the knot with Charles “Bob” Murphy in Ottumwa. The wedding took place. On April 30th, 2021, he took his last breath and departed this world. Prior to her retirement from Jewel-Osco, she spent her career in the industry as a meat wrapper at the company that was once known as Randall Foods. Sharon delighted in engaging in conversation with a variety of people. Some of her favorite things to do include going bowling, visiting to casinos, watching live music, playing card games with her sister, and traveling on vacation with her family.
She was extremely devoted to her children as well as her grandchildren, particularly her grandchildren. Among her surviving family members are her children Christine Murphy, Douglas Murphy, and Amy (David) Lapaczonek, as well as her seven grandchildren and her siblings Jack Callas, Mike Callas, Johnny Callas, and Dixie Parker. Her family members who had preceded her in death include her parents, her husband, their daughter Katherine “Kat” Murphy, and her brothers Jerry and Ronald Callas. She was the lone survivor of her family after everyone else had passed away.
